Track Bill of Material Revisions

All BOM changes are automatically tracked to the assembly item based on a revision number and you can see a historical record of the changes with the on-screen revision history log.

Bill of Materials increased from 100 to 300 components

Create advanced sub-assemblies of up to 300 components each that can be modified even after an assembly item has been sold—meaning there's no need to set up a brand-new assembly just because some components have changed. And all BOM changes are automatically logged in an on-screen revision history. View and print up to 10 sub-assemblies deep for each assembled item.

Work Tickets

Allows for detailed tracking of the labor and materials needed to complete assembly jobs. Track due dates, completion times and avoid over committing components by removing in process components from inventory.

Quantity Price Breaks

Easily specify up to 5 quantity ranges (per item) that will automatically trigger a percentage or dollar amount discount. Applying quantity discounts on the most commonly used forms is a seamless, behind-the-scenes process. When combined with Price Levels, you can create a matrix of up to 50 prices per item!

Buy and Sell in Multi-Quantity Units

You can buy and sell inventory in units other than 1. When it comes time to purchase components or ship finished goods, you can now set up shipping units that match the way you do business, which can save time and improve the accuracy of your inventory counts.

Track Insurance Expiration Dates for Subcontractors

Reduce your liability risk by tracking subcontractor insurance expiration dates. Store insurance expiration dates within the software, so it can warn you when you try to pay or enter a transaction for a subcontractor whose insurance has expired. And there's a Subcontractor Insurance Report so you can easily review insurance expiration dates, company name, policy number, and policy limit.

Apply Labor Burden

Easily allocate a percentage of an employee's overhead costs (such as taxes, insurance, benefits and more) to a job on which that employee works to gain a better understanding of the jobs true profitability. Applying labor burden to jobs will provide you with a greater degree of accuracy in reporting costs associated for each job. You can set a standards Payroll Overhead rate and assign it by job or company wide. You can also easily modify the rate on individual paychecks.

Retainage7

Retainage calculates the ammount that is owed to you or by you. Know instantly what your clients are holding back, and how much leverage you have with your subcontractors. You can change the applied percentage amount on a transaction without changing the retainage percentage applied at company or job level.

Progress Billing

Tracking Progress Billing is an invaluable feature if you bill against a contract. Peachtree tracks the job's contract price, previous progress billings and retainage withheld. You can then create invoices based on the job's current progress. You can specify that billing be based on a percentage of the job's completion, a percentage of estimated job revenue, or a percentage of each line item.

Job Work In Progress Report

A work in progress report is a key indicator of a contractor's financial position. This is one of the standard reports that contractors use to obtain a loan from a bank or bonding for a job. Bond underwriters and loan officers use this report to review jobs in progress, determine profitability on completed jobs, and over/under job billings on job currently in progress.

Unified Chart of Accounts

This feature allows you to quickly and reliably translate your financial statements into the categories required by IRS Form 990, the Federal Office of Management and budget and other standard reporting formats.

United Way Chart of Accounts

The United Way has established an accepted range of account numbers for the reports it requires. The United Way-based chart of accounts complies with these requirements and conforms to the Unified Chart of Accounts whenever possible.

2 Remote access is available via Terminal Services and requires Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2000 Server, and XP Pro licenses. For multiple remote users, Windows 2000 Terminal Services Client Access license required for each user.
3 Your Peachtree Quantum Signature Care Plan (which includes product upgrades, product updates and customer support) will be renewed automatically each year on the anniversary date of your purchase unless you terminate your agreement prior to that date. Renewal is not required for continued access to product updates.
4 Sage Software reserves the right to limit each support call to 1 hour or 1 incident. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM – 8:30 PM eastern time, excluding occasional exceptions for observed holidays, company events, and extreme conditions beyond our control.
5 Multi-user performance gains for 5 users or less, are realized in the Peachtree 2007 products with the exception of Peachtree First Accounting and Peachtree Accounting.
